Green Tea

Genmaicha is a Green Tea composed of Sencha Tea leaves and whole grains of roasted brown rice. When first seen, many are surprised to see fluffy pieces of what appears to be popcorn mixed with the brown kernels and green pine-like Tea leaves. Try to resist the temptation to eat these popped pieces of rice that are part of the charm of Genmaicha! BUT... if you can't resist - go ahead and eat them!

Use 2 teaspoons per 12 to 16 oz tea pot.
Use Warm to Hot (140º - 160ºF.) water.
Steep for 3 to 5 minutes.

Caffeine: 20 mg / 6 oz cup.
